Katie Schoeny

Katie grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio spending much of her childhood making mud pies, playing in the woods and creeks in the Tri-state region, camping and being an artsy kid.

She holds a B.F.A from Miami University, and Master’s degree in Art Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. While in New York, Katie spent three years working as an art and community service teacher for middle schoolers. Although having loved her teaching career in NYC, the Queen City called Katie back to her hometown, family and friends.

Katie has spent a twenty five year career in the wine and specialty food industry, focused on independent, family-owned businesses in Cincinnati. She brings extensive experience in management, business development & strategy and customer relations. She has a deep understanding of educational pedagogy and a continued passion for local food, sustainability, and getting kids outside in nature. In her free time, Katie loves to cook, read, learn “new stuff” and have kitchen dance parties with her family.
