Clayton Vranic

Row Crop Cultivator
Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Clayton has spent the last eight years working in agriculture and environmental education. He’s done a bit of everything, from growing vegetables, fruits, diverse grasses and legumes to managing pasture and raising livestock.
After studying Environmental Science at The Ohio State University, Clayton headed out west to Southern California to work at an environmental and agricultural education center. That is where he got bit by the farming bug, and there was no turning back.

He eventually found himself on a cattle ranch in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, where he learned the ins and outs of pasture management, soil health and regenerative agriculture. Now finally back home in Ohio, he’s been focused on working with the land in a way that builds healthy soil, raises animals with care, and grows healthy crops and pastures.

Along with his wife, Jessica, and their three cats, Clayton loves to spend time outdoors fly fishing, kayaking, and camping. But he equally enjoys spending time at home with his cats, watching Jessica’s home country of Brazil’s soccer matches, and tending to his garden.

Clayton is dedicated to Gorman’s mission and to continue to grow beautiful crops and protect this beautiful piece of land.
