Amanda Hanger

Amanda grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. She has been working on farms ever since she attended summer camp at Gorman Heritage Farm in 2012. After her introduction to the concept of regenerative agriculture, she became passionate about combining her interests in sustainability, farming, and ecological rehabilitation. She graduated from Cincinnati State with her Sustainable Agriculture Management Certificate in 2022. With years of experience in sustainable and regenerative style agriculture under her belt, she returned to Gorman Heritage Farm as the Crop and Land Steward in 2021. In 2025, Amanda transitioned into the Operations Manager role.
