Beef

The Farm raises a small number of beef cattle each year to sell in shares. These cows are pasture raised on the Farm’s lush green grasses with diets supplemented by ground corn and soybeans as necessary.

We have a variety of cuts of beef available in our Farm Shop freezer. Quantities are limited so act quickly!

Delicious grass fed beef from the Farm to your freezer! Gorman raises a small amount of beef cattle each year. Our Angus/Limousin cross cattle peacefully graze on Gorman’s rolling hills. Regular pasture rotation maintains the cattle’s natural health and environment.

Beef is sold in half or whole shares. Consider splitting a share with family or friends. You get to choose how your meat is cut.We will connect you with our butcher to assist you with your order. Cost is based on hang weight and includes processing costs.
Average 700-800 pounds hang weight.
Price: $5.50 per pound hang weight.
Approximately 550 lbs. of beef in your freezer for a whole cow; 225 lbs. for a half cow

  • A $400 non-refundable deposit required for whole cow order; $200 deposit for half cow
  • Deposits will be deducted from the total cost
  • Balance is due in full at the time of pick-up
