Tricia Watts comes to Gorman Heritage Farm with a wealth of nonprofit knowledge as well as years of experience in the private sector. She has been volunteering with nonprofit organizations since she was a young child in a variety of capacities. After graduating from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Tricia worked in the financial industry before moving home to Hazard, Kentucky to work in and eventually manage her family business. When the family business was sold in 2008, she was able to dedicate herself professionally to making the world a better place. Tricia’s experience in nonprofit leadership and fundraising helps the farm expand its offerings to the public, providing educational opportunities for curious minds of all ages.
Tricia is an ordained minister through the Universal Life Church. As such, she can officiate wedding ceremonies at Gorman Heritage Farm.
Tricia resides in Park Hills, Kentucky with her husband/best friend/massage therpaist Jim, and their three fur babies. They love to hike, travel and see live music. Tricia is a self proclaimed foodie who loves cooking locally sourced meats and veggies. Tricia is a huge fan of the meats raised on Gorman’s rolling pastures and the delicious veggies from the Market Garden.
