Gardener and Educator
Krystal Gallagher is a Cincinnati native and a longtime admirer of the Ohio River Valley. She holds a degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Cincinnati and has spent the past four years as an outdoor educator working at the Cincinnati Nature Center, Pali Institute in California, and Camp Joy in Clarksville, Ohio. She has been growing food in Cincinnati for six years. She finds gardening at Gorman to be a fulfilling combination of her love for nature and people. Food, she believes, is the connection between the two. When she’s not gardening, she can be found riding her bicycle or hiking with her husband and young daughter, Doug and Joy, together of course with their Australian Shepherd, Molly.
