Evan Brothers is a career childcare professional who has a passion for sustainable agriculture and delicious home-grown food. Evan comes to the Gorman Heritage Farm after 27 months with the US Peace Corps in Zambia working with smallholder farmers in public health, nutrition, agriculture, and wildlife conservation. Prior to joining the Peace Corps, Evan directed residential camp programs serving children with chronic and life-threatening medical conditions, and is committed to providing the safest and highest quality programming to all Gorman Heritage Farm participants. Evan holds a graduate degree in sustainable agriculture from Oklahoma State University, and is a member of the Association for International Agriculture & Rural Development. Evan currently lives in Covington, Kentucky, and enjoys cooking anything from scratch, long bike rides, and pulling carrots from the ground.
