Join us for a fundraiser like the farm's never seen before! It's an all-out country bonanza, featuring some of the region's top bands, great food, fun activities and a prize drawing aimed at helping you take care of your own place.  Scroll down to check out the details, and don't miss this awesome event!

Beyond just a great time, Tractor Jam is an important event for Gorman Heritage Farm.  We're finding out the hard way that tractors don't last forever!  Our big farm tractor is 40 years old, and on its last rims.  We need to replace it, and we need your help raising money to do that.

So embrace your inner farmer, dust off your boots and head out to the farm!

Music!
Our musical lineup has something for everyone - bluegrass to rockin' country!  Remember, this is an outdoor event, so bring your chairs or blankets and find a great seat on the lawn.

The six members of the locally renowned bluegrass band, the Comet Bluegrass Allstars, pick their instruments with a fury, fluidly gathering to the lone microphone then out again, making old-time music as pure as water.

Each Allstar musician can sing, and all are masters of their instrument of choice. Tim Strong is lead on the flat top guitar, Ed Cunningham fiddles, Scott Risner is on the mandolin, Brandt Smith plays the resophonic guitar, Jeff Roberts picks the banjo and Chris Cusentino plucks his upright bass.

Without a sheet of music in sight, the group picks toe-tapping songs like "Katie Hill," or favorites from the movie "O Brother Where Art Thou"—a boon for bluegrass music everywhere. Cunningham assembled this all-star lineup of local talent in 1997 to play as the Sunday night house band at the Comet in Northside. What resulted is a fiddlin', pickin', banjo strummin', knee-slappin' good time that is quickly becoming a Cincinnati tradition. While the gigs only drew a few listeners at first, today the Comet Bluegrass Allstars play to a full house of all ages.

5:00 PM - The Dan Varner Band
Through 350 live performances, Dan and his band have spent the past two years sharing his songs with new fans across the region. Venues included the prestigious Gibson Showcase in Nashville, 4th Street Live in Louisville and Turfway Park. When they are home they can be found performing at local establishments in the Cincinnati area.

Dan is one of the rare finds in this industry where vocals, songwriting and stage presence come together to offer the “full package.” Combine that with a genuine love and appreciation of the country music tradition and you have a performer who can compete with Nashville’s finest.

7:00 PM - The Coy Taylor Band
In 2007,  the Coy Taylor Band was nominated as the top country band in Cincinnati by City Beat magazine at the CEA awards ceremony. In the past several years, Coy completed his first major Nashville recording, and has plans to do a live DVD soon!  He's opened for Tracy Byrd, Craig Morgan, Jason Aldean, and Molly Hatchet. He's also done the pre-party for Brooks & Dunn, and has two dates set up to open for Little Texas and Brad Paisley. Major excitement has been brewing since Coy officially became a member of the Country Music Association, and got picked up by a well known and highly respected management and talent agency, Shepherd Productions! There is no venue that doesn't fill up when Coy Taylor is in the house.  And there has never been a complaint by any country music artist that has worked with him.  He's known as a gentleman and a professional musician and artist.  He loves the country, he loves his family, he loves his fans, and he loves Country Music!  We're sure you'll be hearing alot more about Coy Taylor...so stay tuned!
